Merry Christmas from Never teh Bride!

By Never teh Bride

First the flat pack dresser, now the flat pack Christmas tree

A happiest of holiday to you and yours! If, unlike moi, you have a Christmas tree somewhere in your home, tell us about it. Real or faux? Little or sprawling? Fresh and green or plastic and pink? Voyeuristic minds want to know!

Real-only 7 feet tall this year (as opposed to my usual 10 footer) because I didn’t want to move all my furniture around to put it up. Decorated in a peacock colored theme and it is REALLY quite fabulous!
I even wore my turquoise shirt this morning to match it…Merry Christmas everyone!

We went green this year–literally–with a 2.5 foot potted tree, that we’re planting outside this week!

  3. Sarah Says:

We always got a real tree, pretty much as large as would fit in our living room with 7-ft. ceilings. And then we got our current dogs, who eat everything in sight, and decided to go fake from then on.

It’s actually pretty nice looking- the big thing I miss is the pine smell you get from real ones.

As far as decorations, it’s a very eclectic mix of all the ornaments we’ve accumulated over the years. No theme, but it’s nice to have the memories fresh all over again every year when we decorate.

We have two trees, a real one about 8 feet tall. I think we put almost everything on this year, no theme whatsoever. The other tree is about a foot and a half tall, it’s fake. The little one is just mine. It’s done in gold and red with a white angel, I didn’t have one that was small enough and that matched.
