Books, candles, and cats. A good lamp, a very comfy chair (with room for one human and two fuzz balls), and a soft warm throw…. Everything else is decoration.

One homey touch that we do not have and that is on my list(and I think I’m going to have to make it because they seem to cost the earth) is an upholstered ottoman. I really cringe at the thought of people putting their feet on the coffee table, but sometimes one must put up one’s feet. At the moment, I am investigating the internet for instructions because I already have some lovely tapestry fabric for the upholstery part.
