Why Buy a New Sofa?

That new couch is out of your reach? Switching up little details like throw pillows can give your living spaces a new look without breaking the bank…well, most of the time, anyway.

Cotton twill pillows by Thomas Paul are a notable exception at $50 to $100 per pillow. Yes, it’s still less expensive than buying a sofa, but lord, it ain’t cheap. Limited quantities and exclusive designs contribute to the price, yet it’s the intriguing patterns that make them so drool-worthy.

Of course, one could get just one of these fabulous pillows and nestle it in among a few less spectacular ones, thus still making a big savings while having something pretty spectacular. I want the one that looks like coral branches. I could see that stuck in among half a dozen plain pillows in navy or slate blue and ivory.

Yes, my brain is often a very pretty place to be. I wish my house looked half as nice.

You and me both, Twistie. My brain’s interior probably costs millions of dollars at this point ;-)
