Our house came with a wallpaper border of bunnies in the kitchen and first floor hallway, and the thought of tearing them off makes me cringe, even though I know they aren't alive. I'm embarrassed to ask this: Am I the only one who feels kind of bad about stepping on critters? Yes, I KNOW it's a doormat. But I feel bad stepping on birdies! Or bunnies, or bats, or dogs, or cats. I can tread happily and heavily on flora, but I wind up edging around the creatures. Is it just me? I love this, it’s really, really pretty.
