    When my husband was working for a dot-com, we had dinner at his CEO’s brownstone on the Upper East Side. It was set up kind of like I envision this one, with basically one room on each floor, with at least 4 or 5 floors of living space, including the basement. (Granted, we didn’t see where they slept.)

    Also granted, I think theirs was still larger than this. But I think at least for the main living areas, it might be workable. (Especially with a dumbwaiter installed!)
