When They Said ‘Walk Up,’ I Had No Idea
By Christa TerryObesity and this unique house designed by Jo Crepain just don’t mix. Built in and around an concrete water tower in Brasschaat, Belgium using mainly glass, steel, and striking fluorescent lighting, there is a lower level in addition to the water tank itself.

Spend a few weeks jogging up and down those stairs, and you’ll (maybe) be slim and trim in no time.

That is actually not true. The whole “just take the stairs, fatty” thing is a myth, and a vile one. I know big women who live in 4th, 5th, and higher floor walk-ups in NYC, they take those stairs 4-5 times a day, and yet they are still not skinny.

You’re absolutely right about that, Jezebella! I happen to be one of the ‘stairs work’ people, but I know lots of folks who are more active than me, but larger in size. I was just using hyperbole, but I’ve added a maybe to reflect reality.
