Besides drawing/painting, its priming, folding up the edges and applying the polyurethane. I made two floorcloths couple of years back and no more. They feel great under your feet nice and smooth. They are not slippery if the bowling alley wax is not used. Floorcloth won't slide if they are made out of a heavy canvas and rug gripper is used underneth the floorcloth.
