I don't know what's in the stuff. It's water-cleanable, but it goes on like oil paint, and doesn't show brush marks. I sanded the bejeezus out of the dresser before I painted it, but an unsanded, scrubbed-with-TSP previously-painted table looks just as good after three coats of the stuff. Krylon is paint of the Gods. I only wish it came in skin-color, so I could use it as foundation.
