Home Is Where We Love to Read

By Christa Terry

Who needs tables?

Never hard to find just the right one.

May I help you... find a book?

Opening a door to new worlds.

Curl up in a book nook.

Way back when, I asked where you love to read. Now I’d love to know WHAT you love to read.

Right now I am going through a pile of Terry Pratchet books that my 11-year-old nephew insists I read (they are quite funny actually) as he likes his aunt to like the stuff he likes. Since I know that the moment he turns 13 he will no longer think his aunt is cool, I am enjoying this period of mutual admiration. Once I am done with his reading list, I will return to the pile on my nightstand which includes A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth, a biography of Anais Nin, and a Star Trek novel. My absolute favorite book is Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy.
